Then there are the fake live records, where audience noise is dubbed on to studio recordings, usually with underwhelming results.

This edition of The Mal Thursday Show brings together some excellent live garage records, which are drawn from 45s, radio and TV broadcasts, demo tapes, and even a Hawaiian “Battle of the Bands” LP.

That dude from Home Alone 2 is in it and so is that guy from Mr. Mom and the lady who played the wife of the hardware store owner in Home Improvement and the chick from Speed 2: Cruise Control plays the maid. Well, it was a favorite of mine growing up and I still watch it every few weeks. To make a long story short… too late? Well, this episode was made in honor of that film.
